Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit. In The Green Ember, rabbit siblings Heather and Picket are separated from their family and swept into events much larger than themselves. In a way Ember City is greater than an interesting book that can revive a love of analysis it not only offers enjoyment and is a fun read, it has prominent rankings by both adults and also children.
