DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue has changed that aspect, adding a whole slew of weapons the the game compared the first one where all you can use is a cross-bow. The first DeathSpank was more of a hack and slash, RPG while there being only one ranged weapon as well as a magic spell that could be used from a distance. There will be more puzzles as well as more bosses, each of which will be sporting a different color thong. Thongs of Virtue promises to have more of a variety of quests as well as environments, enemies and everyone’s favorite, a bigger variety of more loot droppage. If you played the first game don’t expect any levels or skills to carry over. Hothead Games and Ron Gilbert, who brought us the Secret of Monkey Island, were not slow to jump on a sequel for this Action/RPG. The original one simply titled ‘DeathSpank’, was just released July 14th for the Xbox 360 Arcade, Playstation Network and PC.
